Paul Majek (b. 2000) is based in London and received his BFA in Fine Art  from the University of Oxford, Ruskin School of Art in 2023. He is currently completing his postgraduate at the Royal Drawing School.

Biography

Paul Majek’s work embodies a fluidity around his figures, delving into landscapes of memory, generational dialogue, and spirituality. Majek uses oil, acrylic, and charcoal on wood, canvas and paper, drawing and staining wood allows him to create a deeply layered surface, exploring opacity and transparency, he draws on archival family photos and personal narratives. Combining his painted surfaces with video, sculptural elements, and found objects, often situating them within altar-like domestic interiors.
